Homeopathic Treatments
Homeopathic medicines are natural, non- toxic and safe for everyone, including children and pregnant women. Usually one medicine is prescribed at one time. Ongoing conditions require several medicines over many months to be prescribed, to reach the cause of the problem. The aim of treating the cause of you condition is to prevent symptoms from coming back.
Some patients say that they have felt unwell since an illness like glandular fever, an accident or stressful event, which may have occurred many years ago. In these situations, we initially treat the most troubling symptoms, then continue treatment over a period of months, until the ongoing trigger for the condition is removed.
We study and assess your own history and current health, as well as the health of siblings, parents and even grandparents. By looking at the health of a whole family, a picture of family health tendencies often emerges. It is from this picture that deeper acting homeopathic medicines are selected.
Getting to the bottom of a health problem can require considerable detective work, which is why our questionnaire is six pages long! Please take the time to fill it out in as much detail as possible.
CONSULTATIONS:
There are three types of consultations:
1. Standard Consultation – 1 hour
2. Long Consultation – 1.5 hours
3. Follow-up Consultation ½ - 1 hour

Long Consultation
More serious or complex health problems, or problems that have been present for years, require a longer 1.5 hour consultation

For these conditions we generally require a Hair Mineral Analysis. This can be done prior to, or arranged during the first consultation. (See 'Hair Mineral Analysis' under Adults and Children section of this website.) For results to be ready at your consultation, the sample must be posted one month prior. Contact us for the order forms to be posted to you, or you can collect them from us.
