As homeopaths we take our education seriously
Many natural health practitioners have some skills in homeopathy, such as naturopaths, chiropractors or GP's who use homeopathy as a part of their treatment. In Australia, qualifying as a registered homeopath means that the homoeopath has completed a government-approved course in homeopathy.
Fully trained and registered homeopaths have completed either an advanced diploma or degree, specialising in homeopathy, including the sciences of anatomy and physiology, pathology, nutrition and counselling.
These Homeopathic courses comply with the Australian government-approved National Competency Standards. Homeopaths who have completed such a course are eligible for registration with the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH) www.aroh.com.au This national registration board accepts registration only from homeopaths who have completed an educational standard equivalent to the National Competency Standards, have current First Aid certificates, have professional indemnity insurance and undergo continuing homeopathic education.
Jon and Nyema are both Registered Homeopaths with AROH and Jon is the Registrar of the AROH Board. Both are also active members of the Australian Homeopathic Association.
