A Family Guide to Homeopathy
One of the most popular and useful books for use at home is 'A Family Guide to Homeopathy' by Dr Andrew Lockie, (Hamish Hamilton Ltd) a GP from the UK who has treated his patients for homeopathy for many years. His book contains an outline of homeopathy and its remedies, along with a remedy guide for most health conditions. It is a great book to begin familiarising yourself with homeopathy. Most good bookshops can order it for you.
Dr Lockie has also written another book, with Dr Nicola Geddes: 'The Complete Guide to Homeopathy' published by Dorling Kindersley, which contains remedy profiles of 150 remedies.
Many books have been written on homeopathy, some of which are informative to those new to homeopathy. When choosing a book on homeopathy, be sure that it tells you what it is you want to know, and that there are adequate references in the back part of the book. In the following, more academic booklist, there are works on the history of homeopathy, the nature of homeopathy and its practice, and on how homeopathy works.
